Sunday, May 25
two remarkable things
1) I slept in until 10am. I don't think I've slept in that late since the tenth grade, and it was oddly satisfying. What's more, the whole family slept in till that time, too -- the husband, the boys, and the princess. I think somebody slipped something into our Chinese takeout. That Katy Claire loves the Kung Pao Chicken.
2) This sleeping-in thing actually happened on a Sunday. Normally, I'd have been up by 5am, stumbling around to get ready before routing the kids out of bed to be at church by 6:30am. But we took our first weekend off in 2008, and it obviously came at a time when we needed to SLEEP LIKE HIBERNATING BEARS.
Of course, Mike got up, hopped in the car and drove up to hear Dave teach at the 10:45 service, but only because he is a Certifiable Church Geek and can't help himself. He even hit another service at a different church on the way home.
I loved him for it. But I also loved lying on the couch and watching HGTV.

Dave totally brought it today. Although he mentioned how great steak tacos were at some point, and it made Preggo Lady very, very, very hungry, and it was only 9:30 or so...
