bought with a price
Just saw a commercial for a housewares store that promised me I could "live the life without paying the price."
Jesus' command for me to weigh carefully where I store up my treasure has me looking with fresh eyes at what I spend, whether it's on fast food lunches or on that unplanned car purchase we might be making soon. As a Christ follower, I do not have the luxury of "disposable" income. It all counts.
There's always a price, because any kind of life you choose will come with a cost. Even if you're not paying with your wallet, you are certainly paying with your heart.
