capitalism gone awry
If you attend our church, perhaps you'll remember that a few months ago, Mike used a dozen different kinds of toothpaste to illustrate the ridiculous, overwhelming amount of choice we have in America.
After working through several of those tubes (random leftover sermon illustrations are an unforeseen job hazard, although I have been trying to get Mike to use some spa gift certificates in his messages for years), I can confirm that we are a SOCIETY GONE ASTRAY.
Pineapple and chocolate are not tastes you should find on your toothbrush. They are capitalism gone awry; boredom and desperation trying to disguise themselves as creativity.
