I twittered yesterday that something amazing had happened. Now that Mike's spilled the secret, I can, too:



Someone drove up and gave Mike his dream bike yesterday, a Harley Dyna Wide Glide. The coolest thing is that it's his for 18 months — it's a "pay it forward" bike that's moving secretly from "random" pastor to pastor every year and a half in Orlando.

It's small and it's silly, but it's an answer to a six-month daily prayer for me. I wanted to give Mike this bike so badly for our 15th anniversary in December, but couldn't make it happen in my power and with my pocketbook.

God cares about the tiniest detail. Believe it.
