let my people go

Pondering this morning why God told Moses to tell Pharaoh "Let my people go so that they may worship me" seven times in the ancient Exodus story.

The teaching I've always heard says this demonstrates just how important worship is to God.

I think it shows how impossible it is to worship when you're a slave to something else.
